Burley Cleaning Terms of Service

SAFETY OF EMPLOYEES - All employees are covered by WCB. In addition, to protect the health and safety of our employees, they do not move anything heavier than 35 lbs. Should you require us to clean behind heavy furniture or appliances, please move them prior to our arrival to allow access to the target area.

CANCELLATIONS - Should you wish to cancel or skip any scheduled cleaning appointment, please provide 2 Burley Men Cleaning with a minimum of two days (48 hours) notice prior to your scheduled appointment.

KEY SECURITY - 2 Burley Men Cleaning takes extreme measures to provide you with absolute security for your keys at all times. Customer keys are stored in a key safe and are assigned only numeric codes for identification. On the day of your scheduled cleaning our Office Manager will retrieve your key, provide it to your team and lock it back up in the key safe at the end of the day.

For your safety we do not return keys by mail. We will return your key in person. A picture ID must be presented before your key is released.

PRIVACY - We respect your privacy. While the nature of our business requires us to obtain personal information from you, we will never knowingly sell, rent, loan or provide your information to any third party (except the financial institution that processes your payment or agencies to help us collect past due accounts) without your express consent.

BREAKAGE & LOSS - 2 Burley Men Cleaning is bonded and insured. Our insurance policy provides a Comprehensive General Liability limit of $2,000,000. If your keys are lost or miscoded, we will cover the cost of key replacement or locksmith up to $50. Clients need to report to BC’s office any breakage/ damage to property within 48 hours of our visit.
Cancellation

PAYMENTS - We accept the following forms of payment: MasterCard, VISA, or cash. Payment must be made in full to 2 Burley Men Cleaning upon completion of service. A $25 fee is applied to all NSF or declined checks.

REFUNDS & GUARANTEES - Due to the subjective nature of the cleaning industry, we do not offer refunds.

ARRIVAL TIME - We provide you with an approximate arrival time. Lateness is sometimes unavoidable due to factors beyond our control such as traffic conditions, lockouts, customers adding services or cancellations. The easiest way to provide access to your home if you cannot be there is to have us pick up your keys prior to your appointment.

NON-SOLICITATION OF EMPLOYEES - As a client, you agree not to hire any present or past employee of Burley Cleaning for any home-related service outside of your agreement with Burley Cleaning for a period of six months from the last cleaning service received from Burley Cleaning.

EXTRA CLEANING TIME - In some cases, an extra dirty or cluttered home may need more than average cleaning.The client will be charged for the number of hours the cleaners are in the property.

HEALTH & SAFETY - Burley Cleaning, hereinafter referred to as “BC”, reserves the right to cancel our service if the cleaning job is of a condition hazardous to health or safety. Burley Cleaning will always endeavour to move and clean under furniture. However, this may not be possible due an item’s weight, size or position.

Burley Cleaning requests the client ensure that all extremely fragile, breakable, and valuable items are removed or secured on the day that the service is provided.

Burley Cleaning reserves the right not to be liable for the following:

  1. Wear or discolouring of surfaces becoming more visible once dirt has been removed.
  2. Failure to remove old/permanent stains or existing damage or spillage that cannot be removed or cleaned completely using normal cleaning methods with our materials and cleaning equipment.
  3. Damage caused by equipment/cleaning products supplied by the client.
  4. Disposal of personal belongings at the end of a move-out clean.
